Middletown, VA
Our Service Area
Virginia Welding & Fabrication LLC runs out of a 5,000 square foot shop in Middletown, VA. Work splits two ways. Shop fabrication happens on the table in Middletown, and field work happens at your plant, because we are a complete mobile unit and the trucks roll loaded to cut, fit, and weld on your floor without a return trip for gear.
That means the service area is really two rings. A home radius we cover as routine day work, and a wider industrial corridor we travel to for planned plant work. Call (540) 931-1331, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Home radius: Middletown, Winchester, Front Royal, Stephens City, Strasburg
This is the I 81 and Route 11 corridor around the shop. Short drive time, so it carries the smaller and more awkward scopes as well as the big ones. Guardrail knocked out by a forklift, a dock plate cracked at the hinge, a cooling tower basin that has rusted through, a conveyor frame that needs a section cut out and a new one welded in.
Because the shop is close, we can field verify the actual condition, cut and fit up in Middletown, and come back with a finished weldment. On a short haul a verification trip costs an hour instead of a day, which is why the one off repairs other shops turn down are still worth taking here. Ryan and the crew do the walk and the weld both, and you can read more about Virginia Welding & Fabrication before you call.

Ring two
Industrial corridor: Loudoun County, Manassas, Harrisonburg, and Martinsburg WV
The corridor work is planned work. Data center campuses in Loudoun County, plants around Manassas, food and poultry facilities in the Harrisonburg area, and industrial accounts across the line in Martinsburg, WV. We travel for these, so they get scheduled rather than squeezed into a same day slot.
Planning ahead is how the travel stops mattering. We take the measurements, fabricate in Middletown, stage the material, and arrive with the weldment already fit up, drilled, and match marked. That fits a scheduled shutdown or a weekend production window better than a shop two miles away that shows up with bar stock and a tape measure.
- Loudoun County data center corridor, generator yard steel, equipment pads, pipe and duct support
- Manassas, VA
- Harrisonburg, VA, stainless and washdown environments
- Martinsburg, WV
- Scheduled around your shutdown or production window

How travel work runs
What a job outside the home radius looks like
Walkthrough or drawing
For anything with a load path or a tie in, we walk it. For fabrication we can quote off your print, your material spec, or a photo with a tape measure in it.
Quote before we roll a truck
Written scope, material, and the window we can hold. If a piece needs to be built before we travel, we say so up front.
Site access and permits
Your contractor orientation happens before anyone touches a torch, and we pull the hot work permit through whoever issues it on your side.
Fabricate, travel, install, clean up
Cut and fit up in Middletown, then one trip to set it. Cutoffs, rod stubs, and grinding dust leave with us, and the floor gets swept before the truck moves.
Available across the area

Service Area Questions
- Do you travel outside these towns?
Often, yes. The list above is where we work regularly, not a fence. Call (540) 931-1331 with the location and the scope and we will tell you straight whether the travel makes sense for the size of the job.
- Do I have to bring the work to your shop?
No. We are a complete mobile unit and most of our work happens at the customer facility. If a piece is easier to build on a table, we take it back to Middletown, fabricate it, and bring it back finished.
- Can you work around our production schedule?
That is how we prefer to run it. Shutdown work has a hard start and a hard finish, so we stage material and finish the fabrication before your window opens. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- What do you need before you can quote a job in Loudoun County or Harrisonburg?
Location, what the work is, whether the equipment is running or down, material and size if you know them, and a needed by date. A photo or a drawing speeds it up considerably. Send it through our contact page.
- Do you do concrete and demolition in the same area?
Yes. Equipment pads and footings and selective removal of old machinery and its foundation travel with the rest of the trades, which is the point of using one contractor instead of four.
